Fill in the Blank

Okay. I finally have the wall I've been wanting in my entryway for SO many years (thank you Eric and everyone else who helped). Now what? I do not possess the decorating gene. I do have some ideas, I'm just not talented enough to take an idea and make it a reality. My style is more along the lines of staring at the blank wall until I become comfortable with just leaving it blank. So I ask again, now what?

I like the chandelier! It looks nice and simple how it is.

If you wanted to do the latest trend you could do some vinyl lettering. My header picture on http:/bretbridgetandboys.blogspot.com is an example of some.

If you are interested the girl I use is:

Good luck!

I don't possess the decorating gene, either, so I have no idea. Sorry!

Bridget beat me to it. I say have a cool portrait or piece of art and some vinyl lettering to go with it. Vinyl lettering is super easy to do yourself.

I was thinking a nice big deer head would look awesome.

Natalie is so funny! I love the wall! I want to see pictures of the rest of the house before we come down! How about a big picture of me on your wall! (Now if that isn't funny, I don't know what is!)

I like Nat's idea. Any kind of dead animal carcass would be absolutely awesome! Also, I just read what you learned on 7/7/08. BTW- if you react quickly and pour the whole bottle over the area, polish remover will take your niece's hot pink polish out of the carpet (even if she spilled the ENTIRE bottle). But you have to act fast. Real fast!

I am not creative at all. In fact, I have many blank spaces to fill in my house. But Meghan did a cute thing with her blank wall. Here is the link...

How about framing some of your favorite artwork that your kids have done?

Natalie, you are hilarious. I couldn't help thinking of Gaston in Beauty and the Beast. I have to vote on the vinyl lettering.
